Maybe it goes back to our “Hunter-Gatherer” days, but we, as a people, tend to over-consume, over-collect, and over-compensate with stuff. We all have our reasons for why, but I’m here to talk about how to get out from under the stuff weighing us down.

By utilizing some practical tips and tools and using some not-so-expected containers you’ll gain the most out of your living space, become liberated, and finally enjoy the stuff you have.
A very good friend of mine, Natalie Conrad, is an organizing guru! Although I have a lot learn she has taught me some very valuable organizing lessons which you can read about on her blog under ‘Make Room for Life‘ category. Her blog is chock full of valuable organizing information including how/where/when to start. Once you are ready to get the stuff organized consider using some not-so-expected storage solutions like the following, sorted by type of storage:
.
